Lots of Competitors Take The 'Warrior Challenge"

DJ Dogg, of Class & Sound Entertainment, taught participants how to dance "The Git Up" prior to the competition.

Nearly 80 competitors, including kids, adults and family teams, competed over the weekend in the Warrior Challenge at the Jameson's Joy Memorial Fitness Park on the grounds of the Transylvania County Parks and Recreation complex in Brevard.

Winning the 5-to-10-year-old competition for the fastest times to complete the obstacle course were Will Overton and Hadley Merritt.

The winner of the boys 11-to-16-year-old competition was Tyler Studt.
