Academy Maintains Masking

During its regular meeting last week, the Brevard Academy Board of Directors voted 5-1 to keep the mandatory masking policy in place. Board member Lee Burgess voted against the motion.
As far as COVID-19 cases, as of the meeting, there have been 51 confirmed or presumptive – meaning they have been tested and told by a physician to quarantine as if positive – cases among students and staff, said Brevard Academy Director Ryan Hinkleman.
