Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church

Join us in person for worship this Sunday, Sept. 19, at 8:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. The Rev. Sarah Grace Montgomery is bringing the morning message entitled, “A Winning Wisdom.” The morning’s scripture is James 3:13-4:3. Every third Sun-day B-DRPC receives the 5¢-A-Meal Offering to help fight hunger in our community.  This offering will be received this Sunday at both morning worship services, or you can join this fight at http://www.bdrpc.org and click on the Giving link. A nursery is available for children age 4 and under during the worship services. You can also join us for worship online at www.bdrpc.org. For more information, call 884-2645.

 Brevard First United Methodist Church

Harvest time. Gatheri-ng in the crops and putting away for the winter was tied to the rhythm of fall on every farm. James in his letter talks about “harvest time,” too. He writes: “And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace” (James 3:18). The Letter of James has been called a “how to” manual on living as a Christ-follower. This Sunday we continue our series on “Living Faith.” Brevard First UMC is a warm and welcoming congregation with a heart for missions and serving. We are now back fully with three worship services on Sunday morning: 8:30 a.m. and 10:55 a.m. (traditional) in the church sanctuary, and 9 a.m. (celebration and praise) in the Fellowship Hall. Also, you may watch the 10:55 a.m. service live streamed on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/BrevardFirstUnitedMethodistChurch. You can also listen over WSQL Radio (104 FM and 1240 AM).

We invite you to join us as we praise and worship our great God in prayer, Word and sacred song. For more information, please check our website at www. brevardfumc.org or call (828) 883-9025.
