Library To Show Film On Moonshine History

This photograph was taken in the 1940s of a moonshine still in Greene County.

Most of what we think we know about moon-shining history is wrong. 

That's one of the themes of the Center for Cultural Preservation's new documentary film on regional moonshine history, "The Spirits Still Move Them." 

The film will be shown at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 30, in the Rogow Room at the Transylvania County Library and is made possible by the Friends of the Library. The film's running time is roughly one hour.
