Flash Flood Watch In Place Through Tuesday Evening

A Flash Flood Watch continues into this evening for portions of western North Carolina, including Transylvania County and upstate South Carolina, according to the National Weather Service. A plume of sub-tropical moisture will move across the region, mainly through the early afternoon. A southeasterly upslope flow will aid in the development of periods of heavy rain, especially along and near the Blue Ridge Escarpment in North Carolina.
