DuPont Saw Record 1.3 Million Visitors

DuPont State Recreational Forest had its most crowded year yet during the 2020/2021 fiscal year, which ended in June, with 1.3 million visitors, according to Jason Guidry, forest supervisor.

Guidry gave an update on DuPont at the September Transylvania Natural Resource Council (TNRC) meeting and said July 2020 set the record for the most visitors in one month, with 200,000. Prior to 2020, Guidry said 2016 held the record for the most visitors at around 1 million.
