Pathfinders Help Blaze A Path Through History

The first soldiers into France on D-Day were paratroops called Pathfinders. Their jobs were to mark the terrain for those who would follow them.

Veterans History Museum founder and curator Emmett Casciato chose the name “Path-finder” for the museum’s docents in honor of those D-Day soldiers and because the museum’s Pathfinders are there to “mark the terrain” for museum visitors, to make them feel welcome and to provide information about the exhibits.
