In a case of never really being able to get out of first gear last Wednesday, the Brevard Blue Devils fell 4-0 to the Hendersonville Bearcats.

In the beginning of the first period Brevard's defense held strong overall. Keeping Hendersonville sort of bottlenecked toward the left side of the field, the Bearcats struggled to find an opening for potential scoring.

The ball went out of play several times, forcing a restart each time and not allowing consistent mom-entum for either side to be built up in the early going.

Hendersonville's Harr-ison Moss came close to scoring a few times, but...
