HOB: Downtown Economy Strong

Visitors to downtown Brevard may have noticed some changes recently to the historic business district, and the changes will keep on coming as the strength of the downtown economy is expected to hold steady despite the pandemic.

According to the Heart of Brevard's statistics from the fiscal year 2020-2021, which ended in June, downtown Brevard saw $8,506,879 in public and private investment, 46 new full-time and part-time jobs, 17 buildings rehabbed/ expanded, three facades improved, 14 new businesses and 895 volunteer hours.
