Diorama Artist Creates Tribute to WWII Veteran

The new diorama at the Veterans History Museum tells a story. Artist Dale Wall calls it “Tiger, No More.”
A German Tiger tank is shown in the diorama, disabled and off the track. An American Sherman tank has already damaged it. Into the scene flies WWII pilot Ed Cottrell in “Mary,” his P-47.
He is about to destroy the Tiger tank. Thus, the name: “Tiger, No More.”
On Oct. 13, Wall delivered this three-dimensional story in 1/72 scale for inspection by Cottrell.
