Philharmonic Musicians Eager For Live Performance

At 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 7, in the Brevard College Porter Center, the Brevard Philharmonic will begin tuning up for Sensational Strings, its first live concert since Christmas 2019.

The audience will be vaccinated, masked, distanced and excited to partake in the incomparable joy that comes from a live musical performance, according to a news release.

But the musicians, many of whom had a livelihood disappear overnight, will bring to this performance a whole array of emotions, including relief.
