Baker, Morrow Elected To City Council

First-time candidate Aaron Baker won a seat Tuesday night on the Brevard City Council, along with incumbent Mac Morrow, who adds this newest term to his near 30 years as a council member.

Morrow won the most votes in the city council race, with 1,425 ballots cast in his favor (35.36%). Baker was not far behind, with 1,197 votes (29.7%.) Kevin Jones came in third, with 789 votes (19.58%), and Bill Bailey followed with 592 votes (14.69%). There were also 27 write-in votes cast in the council race.
