Black Folks Camp Too's founder Earl B. Hunter Jr. (center) started his company to promote diversity in the outdoors.

Anyone who's been camping likely knows how sitting around the campfire at the end of a long day in the woods has a way of coaxing some of the most insightful and intimate conversations out of people.

Earl B. Hunter experienced this for the first time just a few years ago, and, since then, he's become an evangelist for the magical effects camping and outdoors recreation can have on people.
