County Faces OSHA Vaccine Mandate

In response to a new federal mandate targeting large businesses and their employees, county commissioners voted 4-1 to approve county staff move forward with preparations to comply with the guidelines, which could cost upwards of $330,000.

Earlier this month, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) issued a mandate that employers with more than 100 employees must have all employees vaccinated or provide for weekly testing of unvaccinated employees.

OSHA estimates this mandate could impact up to 84 million American workers.
